Earlier today, the State House Local Content Unit (SHLCU) held a meeting with a delegation from the Patriotic Ground Cadres, who expressed commitment to advancing commercial agriculture through coffee farming.
The delegation highlighted their plan to engage all their national coordinators in structured agricultural production, with each coordinator expected to establish a modern coffee farm of 200 plants.
Under the National Coffee Empowerment Program recently launched by H.E. Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, a total of 140 coordinators will be supported with 30,000 quality coffee seedlings to facilitate this initiative.

The engagement reflects growing efforts to promote wealth creation at household level through commercial agriculture, with coffee identified as a key strategic crop for income generation and national development.
The State House Local Content Unit reaffirmed its commitment to supporting initiatives that enhance local participation in productive sectors and drive sustainable socio-economic transformation.
